I don't really agree with the opinions and outlook of the Shanghainese writers(and their legal wall only mentality), but they're still developing and learning about how the scene operates. The Chinese are very media deprived, so the young writers there aren't influenced as much my hard attitudes seen in graf video productions, and haven't really been exposed first hand to drama and beef of inner city ego fueled bombing scenes. In turn they have a refreshingly innocent view on what graffiti really is. Some Asian writers have also been known to refer to Buddhist ideals and apply these rules to their personal painting philosophy. It will be interesting to see how the scene develops.
